1st - 8th Grade
SKIRT/JUMPER:
- Navy blue uniform jumper or pleated uniform skirt
- Girls in grades 1 –3 must wear uniform jumpers only. Girls in 4th grade and up may wear uniform skirts or jumpers.
- The skirts/ jumpers must be a minimum of 4 inches below the knee, covering the knee at all times. Please allow for your child’s growth when purchasing uniforms.
- Skirts should give off a neat appearance, e.g. no fallen hems or skirts that drag on the floor.
SHIRT
- Solid color blouse, button down with collar
- Tznius button or snap to ensure proper covering of collarbone
- Solid color t-shirts may be worn under blouses. If the neckline of the t-shirt safely covers the collar bone, the first one or two buttons of the uniform shirt may be open. If the neckline does not cover properly, the tznius button must be closed.
SWEATER
- No words
- Denim jackets may not be worn.
- Hoods may not be worn in class.
HOSIERY
- Students are expected to wear tights. Knee socks are not acceptable.
- Socks may not be worn over tights.
- No leggings
ACCESSORIES/HAIR
- Earrings must be refined and modest and cannot hang longer than 1 inch.
- No nail polish (clear or colored) or makeup may be worn.
- Long hair must be tied back.
OUT OF SCHOOL
It is important for the chinuch of our children, to have consistent standards at home and in school.
- Shirts covering the collarbone (front, back, and sides) and elbows at all times.
- Shirts long enough so that the body is covered modestly even when bending over. If necessary, a long undershirt should be worn.
- Skirts covering the knees in all positions- while standing and sitting.
- No slits (even if they are small and/or below the knee)
- No tight fitting blouses, skirts or dresses that accentuate one’s shape
- Feet and legs must be covered at all times
- No red garments
- No garments containing writing
- Shabbos and Yom Tov clothes should reflect the holiness of the day.
PRESCHOOL
Although there is no set uniform for the younger students attending preschool, the girls are required to dress in clothing that is befitting Chassidishe Girls.
- Dresses and skirts that amply cover the knees when sitting
- Sleeves that adequately cover the elbows, and are long enough that when students raise their arms, the sleeves do not ride up above their elbows
- Tights, not socks
- Shirts worn with skirts should be long enough so that the body is covered modestly even when bending over. If necessary, a long undershirt should be worn.
